Microwedding at Villa Ortensia - Lake Como

Microwedding is, as the name suggests, similar to a traditional wedding, but exclusive to a small circle of guests. In all other respects, microweddings follow the same steps and customs of standard weddings.

Helen and Jeremy – a beautiful couple from San Francisco, USA – decided to seal their love exactly in this way. A few beloved family members and friends reunited in the breathtaking Villa Ortensia, overlooking Lake Como, for a very special weekend.

It was the eponymous flower, the blue hydrangea, typical of this corner of Italy, the protagonist of the wonderful decorations realized by wedding planner Aurora Fallini of Lake Como Wedding and Events, then illuminated by a myriad of dust blue candles.

A fairy-tale wedding celebrated in the magnificent gardens of Villa Ortensia from the 18th century; the dinner served on the shore of Lake Como; the spectacular cake with many tiers; and, finally, the spouses who fled on a boat for a romantic ride that gave us the opportunity to take unforgettable photos.

The couple’s clothing was of the most elegant kind: Helen, in fact, chose to wear a wonderful dress by Daphne Milano that enhanced her ethereal beauty even more, while Jeremy wore a dark blue suit by Savorani.

The magical atmosphere of Lake Como has once again gifted us with so many romantic moments to capture.
