Interestingly, the Eremo was once dependent on the Monastery of San Girolamo della Cervara in Portofino, another exclusive wedding location on the Ligurian coast.

One can only wonder what the monks of San Benedetto would think of these transformed places, now venues for celebration and relaxation. Our photographers worked tirelessly to capture the essence of this service, selecting the Eremo for preparation and reception, and the ‘sixth land’ for the ceremony. San Pietro in Portovenere served as the chosen church, adding a touch of historical charm.

Despite the logistical challenges, the wedding was seamlessly executed with the help of an excellent transfer service. Post-ceremony, Portovenere beckoned with its balconies overlooking the Byron cave and the picturesque backdrop of Palmaria island – an ideal setting for a captivating photo shoot.

Following an aperitif along the Portovenere canal, the couple returned to the perfectly arranged Eremo della Maddalena for a long dinner with friends, creating cherished memories against the backdrop of this unique Cinque Terre landscape.
