Symbolic Wedding at Villa Orlando

Many years ago, in an ancient era, I couldn’t go a day without getting on a motorcycle. It was more than just a passion, an incredible desire to go and discover new places. It may seem strange, but in those distant years, I saw for the first time the landscapes that later became the protagonists of many of my photos.

The villages of Tuscany, like the villas of Lucchesia, were the destinations of many “rides” in that bygone era. I believe it was the desire to tell the story of what I experienced while going and seeing these places that created my desire to photograph.

During that time, I rode with a company that was led by Cavalier Aldovardi, a super organizer of motorcyclists. In that group of riders, I met Ilaria, the protagonist of this wedding. It was curious to photograph her dressed as a bride because until the last minute, I thought she would show up with a leather jacket.

Ilaria and Marco chose a symbolic wedding, a ceremony in which a couple celebrates their love and commitment to each other symbolically, without the legal formality of marriage. It is a popular option for couples who want to celebrate their love in a non-conventional way, often in romantic and suggestive places.

Certainly, a symbolic wedding in Versilia allows many bureaucratic issues to be resolved and many interesting locations to be used for a ceremony otherwise unavailable.

Villa Orlando in Torre del Lago, a city on the Tuscan coast, is a perfect location for a symbolic wedding. With its panoramic view of the lake and beautiful garden, Villa Orlando provides a romantic setting to celebrate a couple’s special day. The villa is also a municipal seat and it is possible to have a legally valid civil wedding on-site.

The bride of the symbolic wedding at Villa Orlando Torre del Lago had a wonderful red spider, a bold and fascinating British sports car that caught everyone’s attention. The red spider was chosen by the bride for its strong and passionate character, but those who know her know that this girl has a great passion for engines.

The bride and groom exchanged their vows of love under a beautiful white flower arch in the garden of Villa Orlando, with the backdrop of the lake and mountains. The ceremony was conducted by a friend of the couple and included personalized readings and poems that reflected the love and commitment of the couple to each other.

After the ceremony, the couple had a photo shoot in which the red sports car played a fundamental role, but perhaps the Spritz also played an important role.

The evening then continued with a romantic dinner in the garden, accompanied by live music and dances under the stars.
