Jonathan and Salomè – Wedding at Villa di Maiano
Sweet Tuscan hills looking towards Florence, the dome standing out towards the sky as the air trembles from the heat of a blazing summer.
I was on the terrace of the Italian garden of Villa di Maiano, holding my camera with a telephoto lens, on the other side of the ceremony area was Martina, and halfway down the path was Michael trying not to
enter Fulvio Greco‘s shots.
For a moment, I thought I was on the other side of the Mediterranean. It could have been the temperature or the huge and geometric expanse of Kippah, but for a moment, it seemed likeI was in the plain of Jerusalem with its olive trees instead of the hills of Fiesole.
This is because today, worlds and cultures come closer together, and truly, the “where” becomes increasingly relative.
