Cristel is a professional model, she took pictures with the biggest Italian photographers. You know, with this introduction, I was not so calm at this wedding.

When I take pictures at a model’s wedding, I’ve to explain her that there are two kind of photography. There’s the fashion photography and it has its own language; and there’s the reportage photography, which has a completely different style.
In my weddings, there’s the effort to hide from the couple, to become invisible and let them with their emotions.
I knew that Cristel and Francesco’s wedding would have expressed lot of emotions, their personal stories would’ve let them live those moments in a very strong way.
For this reason, I decided to stay distant and work with long lenses.

So, for the first time, I described Cristel with an emotional key, with an interior photography which looked for her soul, her emotions and not her beauty.
I wanted to show what’s behind Cristel and her strong apparence, the girl that was never shown in her photosets.
Her tension, the tears during the ceremony, her smile and the will to build her life with her Francesco and the little Michelangelo.
